Dear Mr. McIntyre,

I apologize for not getting back to one about your earlier messages but I have forwarded them as they are received to the NSF Office of General Counsel and am awaiting an answer clarifying the issue of data access and intellectual property ownership from NSF-funded projects.  When I hear from them, I will contact you as I know you are interested in a timely resolution of these issues.  My information will only cover those projects supported by the NSF not those supported by NOAA as is the award you mention below.
